Privacy policy
Short version: we collect the minimum, we sell it to nobody, and you can leave at any moment.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Anta Gathering ("Anta", "we"), the producer of the Anta festival. The person responsible for handling personal data on our behalf is Dean Bickel. Full contact details are at the end of this document.
2. What we collect
We collect only what you give us yourself, and only what is necessary:
Mailing list
- Email address. That is all the form asks for.
- Alongside it we store a record of your consent: when you signed up, which page you signed up from, the site language, and the exact consent wording you were shown. This record exists so we can demonstrate that you joined willingly. It protects you as much as it protects us.
Contact form
- Name
- Email address
- Subject (chosen from a list)
- The message you write
Technical data
Our infrastructure provider logs basic server data (IP address, browser type, request time) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use this data to identify or profile you.
We do not ask for or collect phone numbers, home addresses, ID numbers or payment details. Ticket payment happens entirely on the ticketing provider's platform. Your card details never pass through this site and are never stored by us.
3. Why we collect it
- Mailing list: to send you updates about the edition, on-sale dates, lineup reveals and practical information ahead of the event.
- Contact form: to answer your enquiry, and nothing else.
- Technical data: site security and spam prevention.
We make no further use of the data, we do not profile you with it, and we make no automated decisions about you.
4. The basis for collection
Giving us your details is entirely voluntary and you are under no obligation to do so. Joining the mailing list rests on explicit, separate consent that you tick yourself, as required by section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasts) Law. Contacting us through the form rests on your own request for a reply.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. Ever. It reaches only the providers who run the service for us:
- Brevo (France) — the email platform that stores the mailing list and sends the mail.
- Cloudflare (USA) — site hosting and delivery infrastructure.
- Vibez — the ticketing platform. If you bought a ticket, that transaction was made with them and they collect its details under their own privacy policy.
- Authorities — only where required by law or court order.
Some providers operate outside Israel, so data may be stored on servers abroad. We chose providers committed to an accepted standard of data protection.
6. How long we keep it
- Mailing list: until you ask to leave. On unsubscribe, the address is removed from the active list.
- Form enquiries: up to two years after the enquiry is closed.
- Consent records: kept while you are on the list, and for a reasonable period afterwards, as evidence of consent.
7. Your rights
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may:
- Review the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Leave the mailing list at any moment, using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send, or by writing to us. Removal requests are handled within three business days at the latest, and in practice immediately.
To exercise any of these, write to us and we will act. There is no charge and we will not ask you to justify the request.
8. Cookies and tracking
As at the date of this document, this site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics tools, advertising pixels or third-party behavioural services. Fonts are self-hosted and are not loaded from an external service. There are no marketing cookies on this site.
If we later choose to add measurement or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent before any such tool runs, and we will update this document accordingly.
Note: the ticket window loads from the ticketing platform only after you click a ticket button. Once open, that platform operates under its own cookie policy.
9. Data security
The site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access keys to the email platform are held server-side only and are never exposed in the browser. Access to the lists is limited to the people who need it. We apply reasonable safeguards, but as with any online system, absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
10. Minors
The event and this site are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data about minors. If you become aware that a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this document when needed. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Any material change to how we use data will be communicated to mailing-list subscribers.
