Accessibility statement

Anta was built so there is room for everyone in it. That starts with the website.

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Our commitment

Anta Gathering treats accessibility as part of the event and the site, not as an add-on. We work to ensure that anyone, including people with disabilities, can browse this site, find what they came for, and reach us, independently and comfortably.

The standard we followed

This site was made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568 at conformance level AA, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines, and in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.

What has been made accessible

  • Full keyboard navigation. Every link, button and field is reachable with the Tab key alone, without a mouse, and each stop shows a clear focus ring.
  • A skip-to-content link at the top of every page, so you can jump past the menu straight into the page body.
  • Alternative text on every image, so a screen reader can describe what is shown. Decorative images are marked as such and stay out of the reading order.
  • Colour contrast meeting the standard: a ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for normal text.
  • Sound semantic structure: ordered headings, labelled navigation regions, and forms where every field has an associated label.
  • Declared language and text direction on every page, so a screen reader reads Hebrew as Hebrew and English as English.
  • Respect for the reduced-motion system preference. If your device asks for less motion, the site is served without animation.
  • A dedicated accessibility menu in the corner of the screen offering larger text, high contrast, highlighted links and stopped animations. Your choice persists across pages and visits.
  • Accessible dialogs and menus: the mobile menu and the ticket window trap focus while open, close on Escape, and return focus to wherever they were opened from.

Known limitations

We are still improving. These are the gaps we know about:

  • Ticket purchasing runs on an external platform (Vibez) which opens from within our site. That checkout is under the platform's control and not under our direct responsibility. If you hit a barrier while buying, contact us and we will complete the purchase with you personally.
  • Embedded social media content, where shown, depends on the accessibility of that network.
  • Some images on this site are artworks. Their alternative text conveys what they are, but by its nature cannot convey the full visual experience.

Accessibility coordinator

Our accessibility coordinator is available for any question, request or fault, both on the site and at the event grounds:

  • Name: Dean Bickel
  • Phone: +972-55-912-8855
  • Email: helloantagathering.com

We will get back to you as soon as we can. If you found something on this site that is not accessible, please describe the page and the difficulty, and we will fix it.

Accessibility at the venue

The event takes place at Itzik's Khan in Hatzeva, an open desert site in the Arava. Most of the Khan's grounds and paths are accessible, but this is natural terrain and not paved throughout. If you need any adjustment, close parking, or assistance on site, contact us before you travel and we will arrange it in advance, quietly and without fuss.

Updating this statement

This statement is reviewed and updated with every substantial change to the site, and at least once a year.
