Anta Gathering key art from the Central Portugal edition

The roots

From Portugal to Israel

The vision was born in Portugal ~ to carry our own energy, a blend of freedom, alternative culture, and expanded consciousness, into Europe. The festival did not unfold the way we pictured it, but something far more meaningful did. A community formed there, one that shows up for each other, that stands for alternative culture without borders, that holds, cares, and supports. And there we understood ~ what is built cannot be torn down. Movements shift sometimes, and we understood that here, in our own country, there is a real need for a festival like Anta.

The place

Isaac's Khan, in the open Arava

Three days inside an organic date-palm grove at the edge of Hatzeva: palm shade by day, fires and a sky full of stars after dark.

A lodging cabin in the date-palm grove
The deck and the compound through the palms
A room at the Khan: wood and mattresses
